Position Description:
As Product Owner, you will represent the voice of the customer for company’s portal. You will drive the roadmap, shape requirements, and track features from initial discussions/concept through post-launch support and training. You will be responsible for developing the product vision with key stakeholders and building a workable product roadmap through stakeholder interviews, requirements documentation, forward-looking planning, technical integration and tradeoffs dialog, regular product backlog maintenance, and tactical prioritization of tasks. This role will work closely with leadership across the organization including sales, marketing, clinical, data science, operations, IT, and others.
Your goal should be to constantly deliver new and improved capabilities to the users of the portal through our Agile process. We are seeking individuals who can think big while remaining pragmatic and who always have their mind on delivering meaningful and measurable value to the end-user which will deliver return on investment for our goals.
Key Objectives:
• Maintain a holistic view of product and ensure the end-to-end experience is best in class
• Manage discovery, build a product vision and deliver on a product roadmap
• Partner with the business to prioritize & define release content / schedules
• Master prioritization and work breakdown
• Collaborate with the technical, clinical and marketing teams to deliver new features aligned with our overall strategy and objectives.
• Balance business needs with technical decisions and constraints
• Focus on delivering business outcomes and optimal customer experience
Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with internal and external resources to develop the strategic roadmap
• Document and collate requirements into Epics, Stories, and Features and assign them to appropriate resource channels
• Prioritize and manage product backlog
• Utilize analytical tools to measure engagement and recommend improvements
• Engage business stakeholders into the product development process for feedback and input before development
• Create low fidelity UX interfaces for review/approval
• Understand and develop integrations with other core enterprise systems
• Collaborate with development team on an ongoing basis for all sprint and release activities
• Work with Technical Operations team to develop acceptance criteria and test cases
• Prioritize the logged defects with IT and other stakeholders
• Organize and conduct user acceptance testing and internal training for each release
• Effectively collaborate with and communicate to multiple stakeholders
• Participate in end-user and client communication to facilitate an optimal user experience
Qualifications:
• BA or BS, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner / Manager
• 5+ years defining digital product requirements within healthcare and/or pharma
• 5+ years working in Agile software development settings and team structure
• Experience working with a Digital Experience platform, PHP and Angular based sites
• Have a strong understanding of the business needs in the healthcare space
• Process oriented individual, capable of developing user journeys and requirements
• Has good understanding of user experience design best practices (user interviewing skill, opportunity assessments)
• Creative thinker, able to discover key ideas and design appropriate solutions
• Able to articulate requirements and decisions to help build a better product
• Comfortable making product decisions that will add the most value/ROI
• Strong negotiation, collaboration and facilitation skills
• Able to align teams on product vision and release goals
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) a plus
• Experience with Salesforce Community Cloud or Health Cloud a plus
