ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join their innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in discovering valuable insights through data analysis and contributing to strategic decision-making in retail and marketing. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and business acumen to develop impactful analytics solutions that drive organizational growth.

Responsibilities include supporting and managing a program of business unit-focused initiatives aimed at extracting maximum value from business-driving applications. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that business needs and goals are met through robust development, analysis, and reporting activities. Empowering business leaders with concise, high-quality information will be central to your role, enabling them to identify and address key business opportunities and threats effectively. Additionally, you will develop, collate, and manage databases and structures, providing expert consultation on data interpretation to various stakeholders across the organization. Your ability to document requirements clearly and effectively will facilitate seamless communication and alignment with stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

Schedule Requirements:
• Full-time Position - Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Fully Remote: Hybrid schedule will be on a business needs basis at manager's discretion.
• Hybrid Schedule (when needed): Mon/Tues/Thurs in office required based off of business needs and in person scheduling is needed.

Education & Experience Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred but not required.
• MUST HAVE proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong skills in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
• Experience with SQL querying and familiarity with Azure data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory analysis.
• Basic understanding of R or similar tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of retail or marketing analytics concepts is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a business intelligence or data analysis role.
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles and practices.
• Experience working in a retail or marketing environment.
